What is eco-anxiety? How do artists use their art to cope with it? Looking at mind mapping, art making, guided meditation, journaling and group discussions, this one hour and a half workshop is packed with practical tips and tools to overcome eco-anxiety provoked by summer fires and drought.

About the Event

This workshop will be lead by designer and yoga teacher Juliana Luna and artist and art teacher Sofie Dieu.

The workshop will start with an introduction to what is eco-anxiety. It will be followed by a group conversation and a map mapping activity to hghlight how artists cope with eco-anxiety in their practice. 

Sofie Dieu will run a meditative drawing activity on colour and Juliana Luna will guid creatives through a short meditation.

Participants will be given time to reflect in their journal and think of a way to use the shared ideas and previous two activities as part of their creative journey

To conclude, a well-being emergency contact list will be distributed explaining what to do with it and when to use it.
